Vrishta's story is deeply intertwined with the legacy of Late Shri Barun Banerjee, Over 50 years ago, our family lived on Debnarayan Banerjee Road, right beside the sacred Kalighat Temple in Kolkata, one of the most powerful Shaktipeeths in India. That’s where Mr. Barun Banerjee, a respected Brahmin and Pujari, performed daily poojas in the temple and for people in the community. As he did more poojas, people began to share their life problems with him. That’s where his deep interest in astrology began. He realised that while pooja gave people spiritual strength, astrology has some spiritual solution to identify the root of their struggles, whether in marriage, career, finances, or health.
People came to him with problems be it personal, financial, health-related. With his deep understanding of astrology , mantras, and energy, he would guide them. Sometimes, he gave simple remedies. Other times, he gave them energized crystals or beads, after performing proper rituals. Over time, people began to feel a change and they came back. His faith, knowledge, and intention started helping people in real ways.
As years passed, the knowledge, practices, and discipline of our Brahmin traditions-were passed down through the family from Mr. Barun Banerjee to the next generation. We were raised in this atmosphere waking up to chants, learning rituals by watching them done, and slowly understanding the deeper purpose behind everything.
Now, we felt it was time to carry forward this knowledge in a way that could reach more people. We took what we grew up with the real traditions, the real practices.
